Job Description:

Atom Power is digitizing power technologies to enable smart communication between electrical sources and end use equipment which is essential to our country’s clean energy transition. We are looking to expand our team with a Technical Support Manager. Reporting to the VP, Sales, the Technical Support Manager will be responsible for leading and driving post order technical support resolution for customers remotely from the office and at customer sites as required.


  • Answer customer phone calls and emails, schedule and host meetings, etc. in support of addressing customer EVSE startup and operation trouble resolution.
  • Travel to customer sites as required to assist with site startup and site and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Set up and utilize a case management tool to track customer issue resolution.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and operations teams on customer and field site and operational challenges
  • Work with product engineering to identify product changes to support customer site performance
  • Document and provide input to customer equipment installation and operation documentation (written, video, still photos, etc.).
  • As the business grows, build a customer support team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years’ field experience with electrical equipment
  • A.S. required, technical field preferred
    • Experience configuring and troubleshooting TCP/IP networks (required)
    • Experience with Modbus, CANBus, and/or RS485 (preferred)


    This position requires up to 50% to 75% travel
